Rocket Singh – Salesman of the Year is the official name of an upcoming movie in 2009 under big banner of Yash Raj Films. The successful combination of the movie Chak De – Director Shimit Amin and writer Jaideep Sahney has come together again and are working for Rocket Singh – Salesman of the year. Bollywood’s happening hunk – Ranbir Kapoor is playing the lead male role in the movie. He is playing a role of a Sikh salesman with proper sardar look with turban and beard. Opposite Rocket Singh aka Ranbir Kapoor, the female lead role is being played by Shazahn Padamsee (daughter of Sharon Prabhakar and Alyque Padmsee). The release date of the Rocket Singh – salesman of the year has been decided of December 18, 2009 so far.

The film is about a lost treasure lost undersea and guarded by sharks which three friends (Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt and Zayed Khan) try to find. A treasure lays buried deep at the bottom of an ocean. There are many people who want to get there by risking life, be it theirs or someone else's. The film is about a lost treasure, which three friends try to find undersea. Akshay Kumar , Sanjay Dutt and Zayed Khan play the respective roles.

But in this hunt for the treasure, there's deceit and betrayal by someone in the group.

Lara Dutta is paired with Sanjay Dutt in the film. The actress did not know deep sea diving before signing the film and underwent a rigorous Scuba diving training to prepare for her role. The movie's second heroine Katrina Kaif doesn't have a big role. But director D'Souza says Kat will surprise the audiences with her role. Sunil Shetty also has a brief role in the film

Kites is an intense romance with the kites in the title representing the meeting of two lovers who are then set adrift by circumstances much like kites are wont to do when being flown by experts. It seems a bit of a stretch but then there's no accounting for producer's fancies especially when the name has to necessarily start with a K.

This film would re-unite the super-hit jodi of SRK and kajol, that was last seen in Karan Johar’s ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’ in 2001 after a gap of 7 years.In ‘My Name Is Khan’ Shahrukh Khan is playing the role of a man who suffers from milder form of autism. The film is based on the true story of a couple in the US.

After a long time Kajol is teaming up with Shahrukh Khan in ‘My Name Is Khan’.

In this film has Shahrukh Khan has three different looks and one of which will be a crew haircut. Hairdresser Dilshad will trim the SRK’s hair further after few days of shooting.

‘My Name Is Khan’ is ready to roll in the middle of December and the cast and crew will go to Los Angeles since the story is set there.

It is said that Shahrukh Khan has shorthair first time in Bollywood. His hair used to be bristled when he joined the film industry, but intensive care and continuous gelling made SRK’s hair soft.

Paathshaala is a forthcoming Bollywood film that stars Shahid Kapoor and Ayesha Takia in the lead roles. It is directed by Milind Ukey and produced by Ahmed Khan. The film revolves around kids and is set in a school campus. Paathshala is about the student-teacher relationship. It’s a highly emotional subject, according to predictions made it’s the most lavish children’s film made in India.

The film, titled Run Bhola Run,[2] went on floors on Thursday, December 27, 2007. Vora describes the film as a comedy thriller. [3] The filming has started mid January 2008 and was completed on October 2008[4] though four songs were yet to be shot,[5] which were completed on January 2009.
Sharman Joshi was earlier part of the film in the role of Bhola but he later opted out and got replaced by Tusshar Kapoor.[6] Soha Ali Khan also backed out of the film and has been replaced by Tanushree Dutta, who had also backed out after shooting for one hour due to date conflicts and had been finally replaced by Celina Jaitley.

The film “Main Aur Mrs Khanna” is about Samir and Raina. Vijay Galani’s Veer directed by Gadar director, Anil Sharma, is a big budget extravaganza. The movie has been in news because of its hero Salman Khan charging a never heard before packet of Rs 25 Crore as his signing amount. Salman Khan is known to experiment with his looks and hairstyle for his movies.When asked about the similarity between the two films, director Anil Sharma said “Even I have heard about it. I haven’t seen Suryavanshi so can’t comment on it. As far as Veer is concerned it is a period film set in the 18th century. It is not inspired by any film. It’s an original story written by Salman.”

Three Idiots is the tentative title for Rajkumar Hirani's upcoming film starring Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor, R. Madhavan and Sharman Joshi. The film is loosely based on a famous novel, Five Point Someone by Indian writer Chetan Bhagat. However, the story is completely different but will be set in an engineering college.[1] Vidhu Vinod Chopra will be producing the film whilst Abhijat Joshi and Raju Hirani have written the screenplay. The film's soundtrack will be composed by Shantanu Moitra with lyrics penned by Swanand Kirkire.

With the completion of the 4th and final schedule on 7 separate sets in bombay between the 24th of November, 2008 and the 10th of December, 2008, 95% of the entire shooting of Viveck Vaswani’s ‘Dulha Mil Gaya’ is now complete. The film has been shot extensively in Bombay, Trinidad, Tobago, and the interiors of Maharashtra, including Pune, Wai and Panchgani.

Confirms Viveck Vaswani, “The entire star cast of the film, including Shah Rukh Khan, participated in the schedule. With the exception of one Qawalli to be picturised on Shah Rukh khan and Sushmita Sen in February, all of Shah Rukh Khan’s work in the film is complete.”

The inimitable Munnabhai and his funny sidekick Circuit are now headed to the United States in the third movie of the ‘Munnabhai’ series.

After taking on the medical system (in Munnabhai MBBS) and spreading the message of Gandhigiri (in Lage Raho Munnabhai ), Munna and Circuit are now going across the Atlantic.The idea to take the two characters into the US first arose when director Rajkumar Hirani saw Sanjay Dutt andArshad Warsi sitting together in a golf-cart in the US. The thought of two ‘bhais’ being transported to the US took Hirani’s fancy. When Dutt came to know about this idea, he liked it very much and asked Hirani to make a film on it. That is howMunnabhai Chale Amerikawas conceived.

Even though Hirani and writer Abhijat Joshi are still working on the script, the film’s producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Hirani have shot a small trailer of the movie.

Writer cum Director cum Producer Sanjay Gupta confirmed his shooting plans with his age-old friendSanjay Dutt for his upcoming movie Alibaug. The film is shot under the banner of White Feather Production House, the company Sanjay Dutt was once fostering along with friend Sanjay Gupta.

Clearing all the speculations regarding Dutt’s futher shootings, who has already completed one schedule of Alibaug, Gupta informed, ” There’s absolutely no question of Alibaug without Sanjay Dutt. He’s the film’s backbone. Right now I’m in Goa shooting for Alibaug with the entire cast except Sanju. But Sanju will join us later in Mumbai and complete all his work. ”

In the meanwhile another of Dutt’s buddies Bunty Walia is going full-steam ahead with his plans of making Lamha with Sanjay Dutt. “I’m giving Sanju a completely new look for Lamha. We start shooting next year,” informs Bunty.

Director Sudipto Chattopadhya who is currently making PANKH for White Feather films with Bipasha Basu is pretty nervous. PANKH with its bold theme of gender identity had already created ripples in the film industry circle. To calm his frail nerves down, Sudipto had a special screening of the rushes of PANKH for a select few from the film fraternity and check on their reaction.

Sudipto heaved a sigh of relief when his select guests stepped out of the preview theatre with a smile on their face.

Sudipto said, "I was glad that the audience could easily connect to the main protagonist emotionally. The theme of PANKH touched their hearts and that itself was a triumphant moment for me. Everyone who saw the scenes, we showed them, was full of praise. It was heart warming."

After a long break and a big flop in the form of Jhoom Barabar Jhoom, Preity Zinta would not be seen in her upcoming movie, directed by Jahnu Barua opposite Shiney Ahuja of the Gangster fame. The director, Barua, had their first choice in Preity and Shiney and luckily got them, considering how difficult it is to get the dates or even convince A listing actors for a movie.

Though the roommate of Preity in the film was changed once. The role was supposedly first offered to Dipannita Sharma, who is these days seen in the reality show starring Akshay Kumar, title Khatron Ke Khiladi, being aired on the new channel, colors. But now the role has been accepted by Issha Kopikar, who was last seen against Shah Rukh Khan in the Farhan Akhthar directed Don.

Shahrukh makes ‘bad’ look ‘cool’. I’ve been saying it ever since ‘Don’ promos hit the air. Now, ‘Don’ is about to unveil his no-holds-barred villainous act soon but there’s more good news for SRK fans. According to a well placed source, King Khan will be essaying the bad-guy role in ‘Dhoom 3’. Bollywood is really getting confident when it comes to sequels it seems. For even before the release of ‘Dhoom 2’ the plans are already underway for ‘Dhoom 3’.

Another interesting bit of news is regarding Rishi and Neetu Kapoor’s hot looking son Ranbir Kapoor. He is currently wrapping up his debut venture in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Saawariya’ but his performance level has impressed the Yashraj banner so much that they’ve signed a three film contract with the Kapoor scion. And one of these films will be ‘Dhoom 3’. And no, Sanjay Gadhvi won’t be directing it.
